For accountancy firms
Clients, deadlines and the document chase, on one screen.
When the list of what is due lives in a spreadsheet and in somebody’s head, and the chasing lives in their sent folder, a firm finds out what that person was holding the week they are off.
Where it slips.
- Deadlines in a spreadsheet
Filing dates copied by hand, and checked when somebody remembers to.
- The document chase
Bank statements and invoices asked for by email, chased by email, and lost in a thread.
- Records typed twice
A company’s name, number and registered office copied from one tab into another, one field at a time.
- Who changed what
A bank detail changed in March, and nobody can say who changed it.
What we built for this
What we built for this
QuillEvery client and every deadline a firm owes, on one screen.
Every job on one board with who owns it and when it is due. Type a company number and the record fills itself from Companies House. Document requests go out as a single-use link, are chased on day 3, 7 and 14, then stop. Every change is written down twice.
Built and running. Not yet in use at a firm.
What it does not do
The limits, written down.
- Not filing software
It sends nothing to HMRC. It holds who is mandated, what is next, and who is chasing it.
- Not bookkeeping
It does not keep the books and it is not where the numbers are made.
If you run a practice.
Tell us how you track what is due. We will tell you whether this is better than what you have, and if it is not, we will say so.
