Nazm means to string pearls onto a thread.
A hundred orders a day, written on paper, while the phone rings over somebody mid order. nazm puts every one of them on a single thread the shop can see from the till.
A takeaway taking a hundred orders a day writes them on paper, and the phone rings while somebody is mid order. nazm takes the order on the number the shop already gives out, puts it on a screen by the till, and tells the customer what is happening. The shop keeps its own number, its own name and its own customers.

How an order runs.

The customer messages the shop
Same WhatsApp number as always, printed on the shopfront and the menu. Nothing to download and no account to make.

They get a link to the menu
It opens a page in the shop’s own colours, showing what is on today. The link lasts two hours.

They order and give a name
Collection, paid at the shop. The customer gets an order number in the same WhatsApp chat.

Staff work from one screen
The order appears by the till. Accept it, refuse it with a reason, or mark it ready, and the customer is told each time.
What nazm does not do
The limits, written down.
What we hold, and for whom.
The shop is responsible for its own customer list. We run the ordering for the shop and handle those details on its behalf. We do not store the content of WhatsApp messages, and we take no payment details. The privacy notice sets out every field we keep and how to have it deleted.
Where nazm is today. The system is built and running, and the first shop is in setup. No shop is live on it yet, and this page will say so until one is.
